A Photographic project on Break-up of the Earth.
The aim of this project is to witness through the use of satellite images, both contemporary and historical, the disintegration of the planet Earth due to the irreversible deterioration of climatic conditions caused by human beaviour.
I have collected dozens of photographs from the NASA and USGS website: the photographs certify, they do not interpret. The EARTH photographic project is born from the projection of these images on human bodies: a virtual tattoo to witness the intimate bond that binds them.
The Earth with its man-made wounds is scratched, wounded, abused and raped by its youngest and most voracious host.
It was certainly a painful journey amplified by the need of great solutions on a global scale that can no longer be postponed.
